If you are unable to attend the Graduation Fair, apparel will be available for pick up at the Bellarmine Bookstore the week prior to graduation during regular business hours. Rehearsal
Wednesday, May 8 at 5:30 p.m. in Knights Hall. Graduates report to Knights Hall to go through name pronunciation, where you will sit, how to wear the hood and the order of Commencement. You do not need to bring your cap & gown to the rehearsal.
Alumni Welcome
Wednesday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. - Join us for a celebration as you will be welcomed into the Alumni Association! Held immediately following graduation practice, there will be food, drinks, music, great alumni giveaways, and a champagne toast. The Executive Director of our National Alumni Association, Peter Kremer '02, will welcome you and tell you about all the great benefits and services you are offered as an alumnus/a of Bellarmine University.
Commencement
Students will assemble in designated campus locations as announced at rehearsal. All students must check in and be in line by 11 a.m.
Once the Student Marshals have assembled the students in order, the procession will begin. Commencement begins at 12 Noon.
Many people ask how long commencement lasts. The average for May is about 2.5 hours.
Tickets are required for May Commencement. Each student who has RSVP'd to participate will receive 5 tickets for Knights Hall. Seating is reserved for the graduates, faculty/staff members, and governing boards. All guest seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests are advised to arrive no later than 11 a.m.
