Cap and Gown
If you are unable to attend the Graduation Fair, apparel will be available for pick up in the Bellarmine Bookstore during regular business hours between October 23 and November 8. Call 502.272.8111 for additional information.
Jostens will take orders for personalized announcements and class rings during the graduation fair. A Jostens brochure containing details regarding email and phone orders will be mailed to all graduates prior to the grad fair. Generic announcements will be available for purchase in the Bellarmine Bookstore.
Commencement Rehearsal will be Tuesday, December 17 at 5:30 p.m. in Knights Hall. Graduates report to Knights Hall to go through name pronunciation, where you will sit, how to wear the hood and the order of Commencement. You do not need to bring your cap & gown to the rehearsal.
Join us on Tuesday, December 17 at 6:30 p.m. for a celebration as you will be welcomed into the Alumni Association! Held immediately following rehearsal, there will be food, drinks, music, great alumni giveaways, and a champagne toast. The Executive Director of our National Alumni Association, Peter Kremer '02, will welcome you and tell you about all the great benefits and services you are offered as an alumnus/a of Bellarmine University.
Commencement - December 18
Graduates will assemble in Pasteur Hall/Norton Health Sciences Center at 5:00 p.m. All graduates should check in with the faculty marshall or staff person present for their area upon arrival. Graduates should be robed and in line by 5:00 p.m. The marshals will assist graduates with their academic apparel and ensure the processional line up is in correct order. The procession will start at approximately 5:45 p.m.
Commencement will take place in Knights Hall, the gymnasium, which faces Norris Place. Commencement will begin at 6 p.m.
Tickets are not required for December Commencement. Although some seating is reserved for the graduates, faculty/staff members, and governing boards, guest seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Guests are advised to arrive no later than 5:15 p.m.
