Special Needs and Disability Services
Due to limited reserved seating space, graduates must make arrangements for Reserved Seating Passes for guests with disabilities. Please contact Disability Support Services at 502.272.8480. We can provide a maximum of four Reserved Seating Passes. The reserved seating section for guests with disabilities is on the main floor of Knights Hall, and has a “Reserved Seating” sign at the end of each row. All other guests will be seated in the upper section of the gym. Guests with Reserved Seating Passes are encouraged to use the main/front entrance of Knights Hall, which is accessible and has a power-assisted door. Proceed down the wide ramp to the gym floor. Staff will be available to direct you to the Reserved Seating section. When possible, wheelchair users are encouraged to sit at the ends of rows for easier access and exit. Guests are encouraged to arrive at Knights Hall one hour before Commencement to obtain adequate seating.
Frazier Hall is a great alternative spot on Bellarmine’s campus to view Commencement. It is perfect for families with small children or individuals with limited mobility or special needs. This Family Friendly area is designed especially for individuals with limited mobility, small children, or special needs. Everyone is welcome in Family Friendly Frazier Hall, from the youngest to the oldest Knights, for any reason. Guests will enjoy a live-streamed simulcast of the ceremony on two big screens. Join us for a more relaxed and informal way to be part of the graduation celebration! Students needing additional tickets to accommodate their guests may request tickets for Family Friendly Frazier Hall. Email email@example.com to request tickets for Frazier Hall by April 26. Tickets will be available during Senior Week in Horrigan Hall, Room 231.
