Emergencies
If the Campus Nurse (x 8493) is not available, or if an ambulance is needed, call
Security (x 3333). Notify them of the nature and location of the
emergency. The Nurse and Security Officers are trained in CPR.
Security will contact EMS and direct EMS personnel to the location if
needed.
A reasonable attempt
will be made to ensure the injured or ill person has their insurance
information with them if transported to a medical facility. Anyone
without insurance will be encouraged to go to University of Louisville
Hospital Emergency Department.
