Academic Peer Advocate
Academic Peer Advocates (APAs) are students of sophomore,
junior, or senior status that live in halls with first-year students.
Their role is to help students transition academically into
Bellarmine. APAs work to establish tutoring in the halls, create study
groups, encourage good academic skills and plan programs in the
halls. They also work to develop strong relationships with their
residents.
APAs receive a free room and a semester stipend as
compensation.
Typically, we search for APAs in the spring for positions
starting the following academic year.
