Dani was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Bellarmine University in May 2017. During her time as an undergraduate student at Bellarmine, Dani held several roles in the Student Success Center, including Student Success Assistant, Pioneer Scholars Peer Mentor, and Student Program Coordinator.

In March 2017, Dani was awarded the Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award by the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) Commission for Academic Support in Higher Education at their national conference in Columbus. Following graduation, she moved to Louisville and is currently serving as the Interim Tutoring Center Coordinator.

In her free time, she cooks, , listens to podcasts (especially true crime ones!), and is a huge Game of Thrones fan.
