Shelby Bosi Shelby is originally from Mount Juliet, Tennessee and grew up in the Nashville area. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Psychology from Bellarmine University in 2013. After graduation, Shelby immediately began working at Bellarmine in the Admissions Office and moved to the Student Success Center in 2014. In March 2016, Shelby was awarded the Outstanding New Professional Award by the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) Commission for Academic Support in Higher Education at their national conference in Montreal. After serving as the SSC's Project and Operations Manager for several years, she became an Academic Advisor in Fall 2018.

In May 2017, she earned a Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in College Student Personnel at the University of Louisville. As part of her Master’s program, Shelby completed internships at the University of Louisville in the Office of Study Abroad and the College of Arts and Science’s Advising Office. She was elected by her peers to be the Director of Finance for the University of Louisville’s Graduate Association for Professionals in Student Affairs (GAPSA). Additionally, she was able to participate in an International Service Learning Program in Trinidad and Tobago. In 2020, Shelby was selected as the recipient of the Region 3 Excellence in Advising Award and Outstanding New Advisor Award by NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising. She was also awarded the Outstanding New Professional Award in 2016 by the ACPA Commission for Academic Support in Higher Education.

In her free time, Shelby enjoys DIY projects, cooking, reading, and binge watching Hulu and Netflix. She also travels back to the Nashville area often to visit her friends and family. She and her husband are proud Bellarmine alums and met while they were in college. Shelby also adores her cat, Puck, and is always happy to share funny stories about him.
