Students in the Master of Arts in Communication and the Master of Science in Digital Media program have the option of studying internationally to fulfill one of the elective credits. The School of Communication offers short-term study abroad options (typically one week abroad) in the summer months, and other programs across campus such as the MBA program and the MA in Spirituality program, offer other short-study international options throughout the academic year. Students interested in studying abroad should consult their advisor during their first term of graduate school.
Graduate students in Bellarmine University's International Technical Communication class studied abroad in Costa Rica. While there, the students took part in a program called WaterStep which brings clean drinking water to those in need.
