Bellarmine-branded masks provided to all students, faculty and staff were one measure that allowed the university to maintain some on-campus instruction and activities.

First-year students take part in a silent disco during Week of Welcome. While COVID-19 protocols altered some activities, the weeklong orientation still served to make the Class of 2024 feel a part of the Bellarmine community.   

Kelze’ Riley, a senior majoring in Political Science and Criminal Justice, participates in a candlelight vigil at Bellarmine in honor of Breonna Taylor on Sept. 17. Bellarmine community members joined the worldwide movement to demand racial justice, continuing the university's foundational commitment to equality and civil rights.

Dr. Carrie Doyle, an assistant professor of Biology, and senior Sylvia Ramsey conducted research at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center in Center Point, Indiana, in September. The rescue center and sanctuary is home to 137 big cats, many of them rescued from abuse and neglect. Learn more in this video.
