Lateral vestibular nucleus
- receives primary vestibular afferents (C.N.VIII) and input from the anterior lobe of the cerebellum and the fastigial nucleus. Cells in the lateral vestibular nucleus project to the spinal cord via the uncrossed lateral vestibulospinal tract to facilitate extensor musculature.
