KEES Award

Your Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES) award is included in your comprehensive offer of financial assistance.

The Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES) provides Kentucky high school students with an opportunity to earn money towards an education in an eligible Kentucky postsecondary institution by maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher for each year of high school. There is also an added bonus for ACT or SAT scores. Students in the free/reduced lunch program can also earn a bonus for scores earned on the AP/IB exams. Please read the policy for KEES on-track to graduate. For more information on KEES or to check your KEES Award online, please visit www.kheaa.com.

Kentucky Tuition Grant

The 2023-2024 Kentucky Tuition Grant awards up to $3,300; no repayment required; and is awarded to students with financial need.

Kentucky College Access Program Grant

The 2023-2024 Kentucky College Access Program Grant awards up to $5,300; no repayment required; and is awarded to students whose total expected family contribution (EFC) does not exceed $6,656.

Out-of-State Assistance

Out-of-state students are encouraged to research in their home states whether state grant funding is available to attend out-of-state schools.
