Knight U Orientation Online Plan

May 20th, May 28th, June 5th & June 9th

Knight U is your online orientation to Bellarmine. We’ll make sure you have the opportunity to virtually meet your classmates, connect with faculty, be advised and register for your first semester courses.

10:00am 		Student Connections Students will be paired with their Knight U student leader and participate in introductions and discuss what they are excited and anxious about.

10:00am-10:05am Breakout Move Students and families will change to a breakout room based on student’s school  
10:05am-10:30am Advising 101 SSC Advisors will discuss with students and families about core curriculum, credits to graduation, first-year advising framework, schedule development, AP/IB/Dual credit process, etc. SSC Advisors
10:30am-11:00am School Meetings Within each of the five schools, faculty have opportunity to connect with students and families as well as talk about what they can expect from an academic perspective. Academic Deans & Career Development

Virtual Meeting with Academic Advisor

Following your attendance at a Knight U live event you will have the opportunity to have a one-on-one appointment with your Academic Advisor. During this time, Student Success Advisors will provide a holistic approach to advising. They will review the student’s schedule, discuss pieces around career goals, making professional connections, adjusting to college classroom, etc.

Live-Session Webinars

We will host a series of virtual webinars that students, parents and families can opt into viewing. These sessions will be provided several times throughout June & July.

Monthly Small Group Meetings

Small groups will provide virtual time for students to get to know each other as well as get information regarding campus services. Each small group will last between 30 and 45 minutes. Students individual Knight U leader will schedule these times.
