Congratulations on your new position! What are you most looking forward to?
Thank you; I appreciate it! I most look forward to the opportunity to foster a deeper sense of “home” for our alumni, regardless of where they are in the world. Having served on the board and the executive committee, I’ve seen the incredible potential within our network. I’m excited to bridge the gap between our seasoned graduates and our newest alumni, creating a cohesive community where mentorship and professional development are central to the Bellarmine experience long after graduation.

What contributions are you especially proud of?

I am particularly proud of the work we’ve done to strengthen our internal governance and committee structures. By focusing on areas like the finance and scholarship committee, we’ve improved our financial oversight and ensured that our community engagement efforts directly support the university’s mission. Professionally, my background in nonprofit sustainability has allowed me to help ensure that the initiatives we launch today are built for long-term impact.

What do you hope to accomplish as Alumni Board president?

My goal is to align our association’s work with Bellarmine’s Tradition and Transformation mission. I want to increase the tangible value of the Alumni Association by streamlining our communication strategies to better celebrate alumni achievements. Beyond that, I am committed to creating inclusive spaces for all Knights to share their experiences and ensuring that our
association provides a stable, supportive foundation that will serve the university for decades to come.

How has your Bellarmine experience propelled you to success?

My Bellarmine education — specifically my studies in clinical psychology — provided me with a foundational understanding of human behavior and organizational dynamics that has been essential in my career as a nonprofit leader. Bellarmine teaches you to lead with empathy and strategic purpose. That framework has guided me through my time in community development
and public service, proving that a liberal arts foundation is a powerful catalyst for professional growth and community impact
