It’s civility week at Bellarmine University - that sounds like a pretty worthwhile idea. Look for programs all week that explore themes around civility. The full schedule is at the bottom of this story and on the Engage website.

Here are this week's campus highlights. 

Tuesday, Nov. 13
Presenting 101, 10 a.m.
Centro Horrigan Hall 106
Make presentations less stressful. Get some tips on effective presentations from the School of Communication and the Writing Center.

World Kindness Day celebration, 11 a.m.
Centro, Café Ogle and UDH foyer
Write a note about what kindness means to you, pass a compliment on to someone else, or perform a random act of kindness for someone.

International student panel, 4:30 p.m.
International students reflect on their experience at Bellarmine and in the United States.

Wednesday, Nov. 14
Rubel School diversity and inclusion workshop, 8 a.m.
It’s time to talk about intersectionality. Expand your definition of diversity and get back to its roots: uniqueness and individuality. Offered by the W. Fielding Rubel School of Business.

Thursday, Nov. 15
Etiquette dinner, 5:30 p.m.
Don't want to embarrass yourself in front of your future boss or colleagues. Learn what on Earth that second fork is for while enjoying some free food from Career Development.

Kickball tournament, 6 p.m.
SuRF Center
Intramural kickball. Come with a team of at least four players.

Saturday, Nov. 17
Neighborhood summit, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Network, learn from and celebrate neighborhood development and community building success stories from across Louisville and beyond, in pursuit of building healthy, sustainable, safe, and attractive neighborhoods throughout Louisville. Presented by the Center for Neighborhoods

Bellarmine volunteer day at Supplies Over Seas, 9 a.m.
Meet in the Student Activities Center for a trip to Supplies Over Seas, a local nonprofit that collects surplus medical supplies for distribution to impoverished communities around the world.

Women’s basketball vs. Central State University, 1 p.m.
Knights Hall
