Bellarmine offers two advanced nurse practitioner degrees that Forbes recognized:
- The Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner program equips
students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. Through a rigorous curriculum, students develop expertise in health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis,
and management of common acute and chronic illnesses.
- The Master of Science in Nursing – Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program prepares
professional nurses to provide critically ill and chronic disease management for adult and geriatric individuals in a variety of healthcare settings. Students learn how to perform comprehensive assessments, treat chronic health problems, analyze
laboratory results, perform advanced procedures and prescribe medications.
