Bellarmine University's
Office of Undergraduate Admission has extended its November 1 early action enrollment deadline to December 1, 2012,
for prospective students affected by Hurricane Sandy.
"We know that Hurricane Sandy has had a significant impact on so many people, across
such a significant portion of the country," said Tim Sturgeon, Bellarmine's dean of
undergraduate admission. "The last thing we'd want anyone to worry about in the coming
days is that they may have missed our early action deadline. Our thoughts and prayers
are with those future Knights who were affected, and we look forward to hearing from
them when their individual circumstances permit."
Any affected applicants who need assistance with the process should contact the Admission
Office at 502-272-7100 or
admissions@bellarmine.edu. Bellarmine's undergraduate application
is available online.
When prospective students apply for early action admission, the application fee is
waived, and students receive notification of institutional merit awards in December.
Students impacted by the hurricane will receive notification by December 14.
