A firework show to welcome new and returning students takes place Saturday, August 24, 2013, around 9:15 p.m. on Bellarmine University's campus, in the quad.
Organized by the Bellarmine Activities Council, the annual firework show marks the beginning of the university's academic year; classes begin on August 22. Bellarmine moved the show to the weekend in response to neighbor requests, and the university has invited its neighbors to attend the free firework show.
