Media experts to discuss 'News and the Digital Age'

Four Louisville media leaders will discuss how the digital age is changing traditional news at a Bellarmine University forum on Wednesday, November 20, at 7 p.m.

This discussion -- "News and the Digital Age" -- will be held in Frazier Hall, located in the George G. Brown Center on Bellarmine’s campus [campus map]. The event’s panelists include: Panelists will discuss how Louisville’s newspapers and broadcasters will remain competitive in a transforming news industry and what local strategies have been implemented to keep consumers engaged, advertisers satisfied and owners profitable.

Bellarmine's School of Communication is sponsoring the forum, which is free and open to the public. Dr. Lara Needham, the school's dean, will moderate the panel and invite questions from the audience.

“This event promises to be an engaging learning opportunity for Bellarmine students, members of the local community, and industry insiders. I look forward to hearing these media leaders describe their unique vision for the digital evolution of news in Louisville,” said Needham.
