what’s on By Jim welp | jwelp@bellarmine.edu As the director of student activities for orientation and leadership, sarah fromm Her TV coordinates new student orientation and leadership programs. A resident of Louisville for five years, she is a fan of live DVR, my vault of guilty pleasures. For asI have a loyal relationship with my music, horse racing and sporting events. long as I can remember, I have watched She also enjoys running, traveling and Days of Our Lives, and can’t seem to break spending quality time with friends and the habit. My favorite shows now includeRevenge, Modern Family, Scandal family. Sarah agreed to tell us what’s on... and Saturday Night Live. I have the Hatfields & McCoys mini-series saved for a rainy day. Her To-Do-List Short term: laundry, clean out my closet, finish a book report, pack for an upcoming trip. I’m also working on getting a menu item named after me before my 30th birthday. Long term: I would really like to run another full marathon, go on a medical mission trip with my brother and stepfather, and co-author a book with my best friend. Her Mind What a coincidence that my Her Bookshelf New Year’s resolution was to be featured in Bellarmine Magazine in 2013! My bookshelf holds my Centre College yearbooks, a photograph of my grandfather and me as a baby, and a selection of books Her iPod to The Notebook. Right now, I’m reading This Iranging from my graduate school text books Believe, edited by Jay Allison and Dan Gediman. But I recently finished Tina Fey’s Bossypants Alabama Shakes, The Lumineers, to take a break from Poverty and Brain Mumford and Sons, Avett Brothers, Old Development during Childhood and Child Crow Medicine Show, Gary Clark Jr., and Development and Social Policy for The Black Keys. I always have Ben Sollee my Ph.D. courses. and My Morning Jacket somewhere on the playlist, and I like to add Johnny Cash, Stevie Wonder or Michael Jackson just for fun. I love the voices of Adele and Janelle Monáe, as well. 8 BellarMine Magazine
