And he works closely with the Indian population in Louisville to explore other intercultural opportunities for students and the broader community. We caught up with him to find out What’s On... ...his bookshelf Mostly spiritual books. I did my master’s in Malayalam literature and read lots of novels, poetries, stories and literature works. I started reading The Seven Storey Mountain of Thomas Merton from his tomb (at Gethsemani). I am also reading Richard Rohr, a spiritual inspirational writer. He is a Franciscan and founder of The Center for Action and Contemplation, New Mexico. ...his iPod Mostly Indian music. I love music while driving. I like A.R. Rahman; he is the man behind the song aja aaja Jind shamyane of Slumdog Millionaire. His songs are available on an app called India TV. Many Bollywood songs are also available. I also like ghazal singer Hariharan. His ghazals are stunning. His album Colonial Cousins is a hit in India. ...his DVR I like to go to movies. I love to talk to people and enjoy being around people. I like to help people visit Thursday’s Franciscan Learn about Bellarmine’s India program Kitchen downtown and I am proud of bellarmine.edu/india being a Franciscan priest.
