What is the group structure?

This is a confidential discussion group dedicated to Bellarmine students who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, gender diverse, and questioning.

How do I know if this group is right for me?

The goal of the group is to provide a safe, validating, and affirming space where students can share their experiences, express hopes and fears, explore interpersonal patterns, and receive support and feedback. Discussion topics will be determined by group members.

Where and when is the group?

Group will meet in-person every other week on Wednesdays from 6 - 7 p.m. in the Fireplace room.

Do I have to share?

Yes, this group is heavily focused on the sharing of experiences, offering support, asking and answering questions, providing feedback, and engaging with one another. While you may not share extensively in every group, the more you share and participate, the richer the experience for you and others.

How much time does it take?

Group will be every other week for an hour. It runs for the entirety of the spring semester. Attendance at each meeting is strongly encouraged.

How do I sign up?
