Dr. Alice Kimble headshotDr. Alice Kimble (known in the campus community as “Nurse Alice”) has been with Bellarmine since 1998. She has a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and a PhD in Educational Leadership. Before college health, her experience included critical care, emergency, and cardiac rehab. She is married to Steve McMillen, a wildlife biologist, and her daughter, Abrayah McMillen, graduated from Bellarmine. They live on a farm in Breckinridge County where in her free time, she enjoys spending time with all her critters.

Dr. Leanne ColemanDr. Coleman has been with the Bellarmine Office of Health Services since 2020 through Norton Healthcare and is a Provider at Norton Immediate Care as well. She has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Kentucky. She has a daughter, Elise, who is currently a student at IUS. She also has a dog named Evie. She loves to do anything outdoors. Originally from Michigan, she has lived in the Louisville area for 11 years. She currently lives in Henryville, Indiana.

Carson Coomer

Administrative Assistant

Carson CoomerCarson Coomer is the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Health Services and a 2025 graduate of Bellarmine University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology. She is passionate about promoting wellness and is dedicated to fostering a warm, supportive environment where students feel genuinely cared for during their time at Bellarmine. With over 20 years of experience in the performing arts, Carson was a proud member of the Bellarmine Dance Team throughout her college career. She continues to share her love for dance by teaching in her free time. Originally from Louisville, she enjoys relaxing at home with her spoiled—but adorable—cat, Phoebe.
