Staying Connected with Your Community

Knights, we are thinking of you and want to give you ways to continue to connect outside of virtual classes. Here are a few ways to virtually get together. We will continue to add to this site as more activities become available. You can also follow us on social for engagement opportunities.

Maintain Your Sense of Community

Virtual Hangout through Microsoft Teams or Zoom

By now, you are likely pros at setting up Teams or Zoom meetings, but if you have technical/technology issues, be sure to reach out to the Technology Support Center (TSC), at tsc@bellarmine.edu, or 502.272.8301. Want to mix it up? Change your background in Zoom, create theme for your next hangout (everyone wear the silliest hat you own) or ask one of your friends to DJ for a one of a kind dance party.

Netflix Party

Netflix Party allows you to watch Netflix with your friends online by synchronizing video playback and adding group chat. Visit the Netflix Party site to download and start watching those "Parks and Rec" episodes with your fave folk.

Create a Collaborative Playlist in Spotify

Need a new mix? Create one with your friends on Spotify. Visit Spotify's site to learn more.

Crush your friends, lovingly

Try out eSport intramurals on ImLeagues. Games include Madden, Fifa and NBA2k. We have also recently set up a Discord account. In Bellarmine’s Discord, there are several pre-made text channels for chatting, such as sports, pet pictures, memes, selfies, Tik Toks, and music, along with a variety of online gaming text and voice channels. We are always open to more suggestions for new channels, though, so please feel free to send your ideas to Campus Rec.
