Students must first initiate the granting of Account Viewer Access; please encourage your student to do so if you wish to have access to their confidential records. Once you have been granted access, you will receive a two confirmation email.
- Your first email will confirm you have successfully signed up for viewer access.
- Follow the link in the second email to change your password.
- Click your own account and select your user icon in the top right corner of the screen. Select User Profile.
- Please add your home address, email, and phone number, as well as any other personal information you wish.
It is vital that we be able to contact you in case of an emergency, so we request that you enter this information fully and accurately.
Once you have updated your own account, you should be able to access your student’s account. You should be greeted every time you log on to Self-Service by a pop-up requesting which account you would like to view, your own or your student’s. There should always be a banner at the top of the page letting you know if you are viewing your own account or your student’s. To switch between accounts, navigate to the user icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and choose “Change Proxy User.”
