Sara Y. Pettingill, Ph.D.

Dean of Graduate Admission
Sara oversees the recruitment of the Bellarmine graduate and second degree programs. She has been with Bellarmine for over 18 years serving in various roles such as Coordinator of Part-Time Undergraduate Recruitment, Associate Director of Enrollment Services, Associate Dean of Admission and Senior Associate Dean of Admission. She also teaches a First Year Focus course each fall. Currently, she meets with all students interested in the PhD - Education and Social Change. Jordan Wiehebrink, Ph.D.

Jordan WiehebrinkAssociate Dean of Graduate Admission
Jordan is responsible for meeting with prospective students and assisting with the admission process for the following graduate programs: Doctor of Physical Therapy and Ph.D. in Health Professions Education. Jordan completed the Ph.D. in Education and Social Change program herself in 2018. She also teaches in the Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership program, as well as a First-Year Focus course at Bellarmine University. Julie Armstrong-Binnix, M.Ed.

Julie Armstrong-Binnix Assistant Dean of Graduate Admission and Strategic Operations
Julie meets with students interested in the Doctor of Nursing Practice, the Master of Science in Nursing (Administration, Education, and Family Nurse Practitioner), the Master of Health Science (Medical Laboratory Science, Respiratory Therapy, Healthcare Leadership, and Health Promotion & Social Change) the Radiation Therapy Second Degree program, and the Accelerated Second Degree BSN Program.  Julie has been with Bellarmine for 18 years and has also taught Senior Seminar and Freshman Focus courses part-time. Her husband, Jon, is a 2004 graduate of the Accelerated Second Degree BSN program and is a current MSN Administration student. Dawn Hodges

Dawn Hodges Coordinator of Graduate Events and Registration
Dawn began at Bellarmine in the fall of 2002. Before joining the Graduate Admission Office, Dawn worked with transfer and non-traditional students in the Undergraduate Admission Office. Dawn now oversees the planning and implementation of all Graduate and Second Degree Information Sessions and Orientations. She also works with each Graduate Admission Officer on the registration of new graduate and second degree students. Dawn received her bachelor’s from Bellarmine in May 2002. James Standard, M.A.

James StandardSenior Graduate Admission Officer
James is the primary contact for the Master of Arts in Communication, Master of Business Administration – Weeknight, Weekend, and Executive, Master of Science in Athletic Training, Master of Science in Digital Media, and the Accounting Certificate programs. He meets with and assists prospective students in the admission process for these programs. He graduated from Bellarmine with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Communication in 2012 and received a Master of Arts in Communication in 2018.
