Oodles of Quizzes in Word, But How Do I Get Them on Moodle?

I Have Quizzes, But How Can I Get Them on Moodle?

Moodle quizzes are a great way to assess student knowledge, but creating them can be time consuming.  Copying and pasting or typing each question takes a lot of time.  Well, there is a better way.  Perhaps you have many quizzes already created in Microsoft Word.  Simply convert them to a format called AIKEN, import to Moodle, and add the questions to a quiz skeleton you created.  This handy guide will show you how to do that step-by-step.  If you do not already have a quiz in Word, you can use this template that is set up for the AIKEN format already.  Simply download a copy and edit it.  Save it to One Drive, and there is no need to change the file type as it is already in plain text UTF-8 format.  That is all there is to it, and, as always, if you have any questions feel free to ask Janice Poston (jposton@bellarmine.edu) or Adam Elias (aelias2@bellarmine.edu).  If you are pressed for time and need assistance, we can add the first one for you and meet with you to discuss further.
