Community-Engaged Course Design & Scholarship Writing Retreat
The Community-Engaged Course Design & Scholarship Writing Retreat is an annual faculty development experience that supports the design of community-engaged courses and the advancement of community-engaged scholarship. Hosted by Bellarmine University's Center for Community Engagement in partnership with the Faculty Standing Committee on Community Engagement, the retreat combines interactive workshops, dedicated writing time, and peer collaboration to help faculty strengthen their teaching, scholarship, and community partnerships.
Supported by the Educating Character Initiative, the retreat also explores how community-engaged teaching can intentionally cultivate character through reflection, dialogue across difference, and reciprocal partnerships.
