Earn an Elementary Education and Learning & Behavior Disorders Dual Teaching Certification

The JCTC/Bellarmine 2 x 2 partnership is a great opportunity for JCTC students with an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Education to complete a Bellarmine University Bachelor’s Degree and Teaching Certification in both Elementary Education and Learning and Behavior Disorders in just two years!

Two years at JCTC plus two years at Bellarmine equals a highly sought-after Bellarmine degree with dual certification.

The degree certifies students in both Elementary Education as well as Special Education (Learning and Behavior Disorders). This is big advantage over other 2 x 2 plans, which usually only certify students in one or the other.

The JCTC/Bellarmine 2 x 2 plan offers:

  • High quality training with faculty and diverse mentor teachers
  • Certification to work with students with diverse needs in General Education and/or Special Education
  • Enhanced marketability because graduates have two certifications
  • A prestigious Bellarmine University degree

Worried about affordability? Bellarmine offers generous financial aid, which often brings tuition costs in line with public universities. The best way to see your potential cost is to simply Apply to Bellarmine. Bellarmine will contact you with a comprehensive financial aid award. Ask about the TEACH grant!
