Our MSN Nursing Administration track prepares professional nurses to function in management positions in a variety of healthcare settings. Students focus on financial and economic aspects of healthcare, human and resource management and organizational leadership. Selected clinical, administrative, and evidence-based practice experiences provide the student with the opportunity to function as a nurse administrator. Practica must be completed in nursing administration.
The Masters of Science in Nursing, with an emphasis in either Administration or Education, is designed for practicing nurses who are currently serving in an advanced administrative/education role or for those who aspire to obtain a position in nursing administration/education.
The program is fully online and is ideal for students with professional or personal obligations during the typical work week. New students will participate in a mandatory technology orientation that may be completed in-person or by recorded video. Most courses will also offer once per-semester optional class meetings which will be available by recorded video as well.
Most students complete two courses per semester and finish the program in two years.
“Bellarmine is awesome! As a three-time graduate, I can honestly say that Bellarmine encourages success and fosters a sense of belonging. Since graduating from the Lansing School of Nursing, I have enjoyed years of positive nursing experiences. Thanks to my MSN, I have further enriched my learning and I now have an intensely satisfying career. The passion for patient advocacy, leadership development, and collegiality promoted by the Lansing School faculty cannot be replicated. Choosing Bellarmine to begin and amplify my nursing career were two of the best decisions I’ve ever made!”
