Bellarmine Names Trover Solutions CEO Robert Bader Accounting Alumnus of the Year

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 16, 2009) – Bellarmine University will honor Robert G. Bader at its 25th annual accounting alumni luncheon at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 24. The alumni association also will honor the 2009-2010 scholarship recipients during the luncheon in Frazier Hall on the Bellarmine Campus.

Bader, who received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Bellarmine in 1978, assumed the title of CEO of Trover Solutions in December 2007. He joined Trover in 1998, where he served in a variety of roles, including president of the healthcare recoveries division. Prior to Trover, Bader served in a number of financial positions with well-known companies, such as Acordia of Louisville, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kentucky and Ernst and Ernst (now Ernst and Young).

Bader, who was a member of the debate and tennis teams during his time at Bellarmine, has been a strong supporter of his alma mater and the community throughout his career. He currently serves on the board of overseers and finance committee of the Bellarmine University Board of Trustees, as well as the Fund for the Arts and Health Enterprises Network boards. He served for nine years on the Bellarmine University Alumni Board, including a term as its chair. He also was a board member and former chair for Junior Achievement of Kentucky.
