It’s Mardi Gras time, and Bellarmine University students roll in style.
Teams of four from several on-campus clubs and organizations gathered in Frazier Hall
late Monday night to decorate golf carts as wild, imaginative Mardi Gras floats. The
groups hit the streets at 11 a.m. on Fat Tuesday to parade their creations around
campus, tossing beads to anyone within range.
A special trivia float was also part of the procession. The float later shuttled students
around campus, quizzing their riders during the commute. Correct answers won students
chances to win weekend passes to the 2018 Forecastle Music Festival.
This Mardi Gras parade is an annual campus tradition put together by students in Student
Activities.
