Losing some local control doesn't have to be a bad thing, said Dr. Keith Knapp, associate professor and chair of the health services and senior living leadership department in Bellarmine's College of Health Professions.
“People cringe at hearing that, but there is something to be learned about seeing something that is going on elsewhere in an organization and trying it in another market,” he said.

Knapp joined Bellarmine in 2016 after serving as CEO of the nonprofit Christian Care Communities. He is the immediate past board chair of the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards; he's also a member and former board chair of the American College of Health Care Administrators.
