For the 25th consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has named Bellarmine University one of the top 20 regional universities in the south.
Among southern regional universities, the publication ranked Bellarmine as:
- #17 best college overall
- #11 best college for veterans, for participating in federal initiatives to help veterans and active-duty service members obtain degrees.
- #32 best undergraduate teaching college, for a commitment to emphasizing undergraduate instruction.
- #33 best college value, measuring academic quality alongside net cost of attendance.
U.S. News develops their annual college rankings based on overall excellence, graduation and retention rates, peer assessment, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources and alumni giving. The publication classifies regional universities as those that provide a full range of undergraduate and master’s degrees, often with some doctoral programs.
