Ann Maria Reed

Ann Reed is the Kroger Louisville Division President, with stores across Kentucky and Southern Indiana. She was promoted to this position in 2017 and has been with Kroger for 25 years.

Ann started her career with Kroger as a co-manager in the company's Central Division in 1993. She was promoted to vice president of merchandising at Kroger-owned Fry's Food and Drug Stores, Inc. in 2010. In 2013, she was promoted again to vice president of merchandising at Fred Meyer Inc., another Kroger affiliate. She served as vice president in the Cincinnati office for two years, prior to her promotion to President.

  • In August, Kroger responded to a Facebook Live suggestion during #FeedtheWest that the company donate $5 million to grassroots groups that are working to open more grocery stores in the West End. Kroger pledged to spend $5 million "to support the advancement of racial equity and justice across our country," and said the company "is committed to doing more and continuing to do better."
