Who can use the Testing Center?
A student who is eligible to utilize the Student Success Center (SSC) Testing Center must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Student must have documented testing accommodations from the Disability Services Office. Students can apply for accommodation online by completing an Accommodation Request Form.
- A student who, due to a university sanctioned event, misses a test. University sanctioned events include but are not limited to athletics or academic events and/or conferences. These students should not use Accommodate to schedule their exams, but should use this form to request a test outside of class.
A student who does not meet one of the criteria above (e.g. illness, personal travel, family event) should make arrangements with the faculty to take the test outside of class.
When is the Testing Center open?
Testing appointments are typically available Monday through Friday (when fall and spring classes are in session) beginning at 8:30 a.m. Regardless of a student's accommodations, all tests must be completed by 5 p.m. on these designated days.
During the summer months, the Testing Center operates on a limited basis. Please contact the Testing Center for summer hours.
Booking a Test
A student with accommodation through Disability Services who qualifies to take a test in the Testing Center must use the Accommodate scheduling system to schedule a time to take a test. Information on how to use accommodate can be found below.
