Sara Y. Pettingill, Ph.D.

Dean of Graduate Admission
Sara oversees the recruitment of the Bellarmine graduate and second degree programs. She has been with Bellarmine for over 15 years serving in various roles such as Coordinator of Part-Time Undergraduate Recruitment, Associate Director of Enrollment Services, Associate Dean of Admission and Senior Associate Dean of Admission. She also teaches a Freshman Focus course each fall. Currently, she meets with all students interested in the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) Program. Julie Armstrong-Binnix, M.Ed.

Assistant Dean of Graduate Admission and Strategic Operations
Julie is responsible for recruiting students interested in the Doctor of Nursing Practice, the Master of Science in Nursing, the Master of Health Science, and the Accelerated Second Degree BSN Program. Julie has been with Bellarmine for over 15 years and teaches Senior Seminar and Freshman Focus courses part-time. Her husband, Jon, is a graduate of the Accelerated Second Degree BSN program. Dawn Hodges

Coordinator of Graduate Events and Registration
Dawn began at Bellarmine in the fall of 2002. Before joining the Graduate Admission Office, Dawn worked with transfer and non-traditional students in the Undergraduate Admission Office. Dawn now oversees the planning and implementation of all Graduate and Second Degree Information Sessions and Orientations. She also works with each Graduate Admission Officer on the registration of new graduate and second degree students. Dawn received her bachelor’s from Bellarmine in May 2002. Loretta Jerdan

Graduate Admission Assistant
Loretta has been with Bellarmine for over 15 years. Loretta worked in both the Lansing School of Nursing and Health Sciences and the MBA Office in the Rubel School of Business before joining the Office of Graduate Admission. She received her Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Bellarmine in May of 2009 and completed the Weeknight MBA program as a dual degree student in December of 2010. Loretta currently provides support to the Office of Graduate Admission by processing admission files and assisting with events. Sara Jane Musk

Graduate Admission Officer
Sara Jane is the primary contact for the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Analytics, Master of Science in Taxation, Master of Science in Digital Media, Master of Arts in Communication, Master of Arts in Spirituality, and the Accounting Certificate Program. She is responsible for meeting with all prospective students for these programs and is available to assist with the application process. She graduated from Bellarmine with a degree in English in 2008 and is currently working toward a Master’s degree in the School of Communication. Senior Graduate Admission Officer
Sarah is responsible for meeting with prospective students and assisting with the admission process for the following graduate and second degree programs: Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Arts in Education, the Principal Program or School Administration, Rank I, and all School of Education outreach programs. Jordan Wiehebrink, M.A.

Senior Graduate Admission Officer
Jordan is responsible for meeting with prospective students and assisting with the admission process for the following graduate and second degree programs: Doctor of Physical Therapy; Doctor of Education in K-12 District Leadership; Ph.D. in Education and Social Change; Ph.D. in Leadership and Higher Education; Master of Health Science in Medical Laboratory Science; and the Master of Health Science in Respiratory Therapy.
