How to apply

The following items are required to complete your application:

Degree-seeking student
A degree student is a student who wishes to seek formal admission to Bellarmine to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Transfer & Accelerated Second Degree Information & Application

You'll need:

1. A completed application form.
2. A non-refundable fee of $25 (make check payable to Bellarmine University).
3. Students interested in the following accelerated second degree programs must also complete a supplemental program specific application:

4. For students who have earned fewer than 24 hours of college course work: An official copy of the high school and college or university transcript.
5. For students who have not attended college: An official copy of the high school transcript or GED score.
6. If English is your second language, a TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB score is required. A minimum total score of 80 on the Internet-based TOEFL (reading, listening, writing & speaking), 6 on the IELTS and 78 on the MELAB is required.
7. The Office of Admission reserves the right to request additional information or a personal interview.

Non-Degree Student
A non-degree student is a student who does not seek formal admission to Bellarmine for a degree, but who would like to enroll for classes. A student may register for one semester of classes on a part-time basis without having a complete file. To register for a second term, the student must follow the application procedures for a degree student as listed above (an additional $25 fee is not required.) The following items are required:

1. A completed application form.
2. A non-refundable application fee of $25 (make check payable to Bellarmine University).

Visiting Student
A visiting student is a student who is formally admitted and enrolled at another college and wishes to take classes at Bellarmine. The following items are required:

1. A completed application form.
2. A letter from the Registrar of the College or University in which the student is currently enrolled granting permission to enroll at Bellarmine and indicating that the course work will be applicable to a degree.

Readmit Student
A "readmit" student is a student who has previously attended Bellarmine. The following items are required:

1. A completed application form.
2. Official copies of transcripts from all schools attended since last admission to Bellarmine.

It is the student’s responsibility to request all transcripts. Only official transcripts ( those mailed in a sealed envelope directly from the previous institution ) will be accepted.

All applications and correspondence and correspondence relevant to admission should be directed to the Office of Admission. Applicants are considered without regard to race, religion, sex, age, nationality, or disability. Application forms may be obtained by writing or calling:
