Bellarmine is deeply committed to making an excellent education accessible and affordable to everyone.
That’s why Bellarmine has created a transfer option called 2BU that allows students from Jefferson Community and Technical College to easily transfer their credits with no application fee.
Students can start their academic journey at Jefferson and transfer credits to Bellarmine to earn their bachelor’s degree as well as graduate degree. It requires 24 credit hours and a 2.0 GPA from Jefferson.
2BU students enjoy a special, reduced tuition rate and access to many of the tremendous amenities and resources Bellarmine has to offer.
Every year, two full scholarships will be awarded to 2BU students, like the one Mandela Gapala received. Gapala was the first 2BU Scholar at Bellarmine University, receiving a full-tuition scholarship to Bellarmine in Fall 2020.
Gapala, who settled in the U.S. from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, finished his associate’s degree at Jefferson, with hopes of finishing his Bachelor’s degree. The scholarship paved the way.
