Adam Haley’s EMBA Journey at Bellarmine University
Adam Haley, Senior Director of External Affairs at Goodwill Industries, is no stranger to community impact. Every day, his work bridges nonprofit innovation with opportunity creation, helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve personal independence. Now, as an Executive MBA (EMBA) student at Bellarmine University, Adam is leveraging his business education to deepen that impact even further.
At Goodwill, where community purpose drives strategic results, Adam leads initiatives in public policy, strategic partnerships, and community engagement. His decision to pursue an EMBA was intentional and well-researched.
“I did my homework when selecting my EMBA,” Adam shares. “I was accepted into four programs in the region, but I chose Bellarmine, and it has clearly been the right decision.”
The Bellarmine EMBA program is designed for professionals like Adam, leaders who are committed to making a difference not only in their organizations, but in the communities they serve. “The program is well structured for working professionals,” he explains. “I’ve learned a lot from my professors and classmates.”
With coursework in finance, organizational leadership, and strategic planning, Adam is already applying his EMBA knowledge to his day-to-day work at Goodwill.
“It’s amazing, all the lessons I’ve learned in the classroom,” he says. “I can really apply them to my work here at Goodwill and to serving my community every day.”

Adam’s journey is a powerful example of how Bellarmine’s EMBA program equips mission-driven professionals to amplify their impact. As he continues to grow as a leader, the benefits of his education are felt across the region, in the lives changed by Goodwill’s services and in the partnerships, he continues to build.
Bellarmine’s Executive MBA is more than a degree—it’s a catalyst for community transformation, one leader at a time.
