For those incoming transfer students who are coming to Bellarmine with less than 51 hours, you have the option to get one free summer course. Two free summer courses are available to those incoming transfer students who are coming to Bellarmine
with 51 or more credit hours.
Get a head start
Taking summer classes are a great way to accelerate your college career at Bellarmine. Start off early by knocking out some of your General Education classes needed to fulfill the degree requirements for your chosen major. Getting some General Education
classes out of way will leave you more time to pursue a second major or minor.
Test the waters
If you haven’t decided your major or don’t quite know what you want to do after college, consider signing up for BU199: Career Exploration and HLTH110: Introduction to Healthcare Professions. Each class is only one credit hour and offer students
a wealth of knowledge and guidance to get the most out of their Bellarmine experience and beyond. Likewise, test the waters in other areas by taking an introductory course in fields such as business.
Flexibility
This year, Bellarmine is offering lecture, HyFlex and online classes. That means that whether you plan to be in Louisville over the summer or not, you can still take advantage of Bellarmine’s summer
classes. And because the summer sessions are in a seven-week accelerated format, you will still have plenty of time to enjoy the summer.
