Louisville Vocal Project
In 2009, The Louisville Vocal Project was formed to addresses a repertoire and aesthetic much neglected in the modern world of choral music. LVP performs primarily a cappella music consisting of renaissance works, music of lesser-known composers, and newly composed music in the tradition of this original vocal canon.
Membership consists of professional musicians from throughout the Louisville area, each with a variety of experiences and diverse individual skills that allows the ensemble to be flexible, offer variety of programming and maintain a professional level quality of performance . We are teachers, performers, soloists, and instrumentalists. We share in common a love and respect for the traditions of choral music.
