The Bellarmine University Institutional Review Board (IRB) is responsible for reviewing research involving human participants to ensure that the rights, welfare, privacy, and safety of research participants are protected. 

The IRB supports Bellarmine faculty, staff, and student researchers by providing guidance on ethical research practices and ensuring compliance with federal regulations, institutional policies, and ethical principles governing human subjects research.
