Check out our Early Knights Program

During the Early Knights Program, students will connect with other incoming students, learn about available resources, and get familiar with campus before everyone else arrives! This program is free to students and includes food for the week as well as housing for residential participants. Students will also complete a free one-credit hour class: BU 199 – Career Pathways Exploration.

The early arrival program supports students in wellness, engagement, belonging, and purpose through academic preparedness, accessibility skill-building, executive functioning, major and career exploration, and leadership.

Priority Deadline is July 18th. Applications will remain open until programs are full.

The goals of the program are to:

  • Offer students early access to campus to acclimate and build a sense of community.
  • Expose students to their first college course (academic success) to explore calling and purpose in major and career pathways.
  • Establish a sense of belonging grounded in mentorship (peer, alumni, staff, and faculty).
  • Provide early access to campus resources like the Accessibility Resource Center and Student Success Center.
  • Offer intentional community engagement with local organizations representing different social needs.
