The Lansing School of Nursing and Clinical Sciences is pleased to announce that the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) has granted accreditation to the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at Bellarmine University for 5 years, extending to December 31, 2023.

The CCNE board of commissioners determined that the program met all of its accreditation standards and that there are no compliance concerns with the Bellarmine program.

Recognized as a national accreditation agency by the U.S. Secretary of Education, CCNE is an autonomous agency. CCNE ensures integrity and quality by assessing and identifying baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs that engage in effective educational practices. As a voluntary and self-regulatory process, CCNE accreditation promotes self-assessment and supports continuing growth and improvement of collegiate nursing education.

All of Bellarmine’s nursing programs (undergraduate, master’s and doctorate) are accredited by CCNE.
