Bellarmine University has approved a new, reduced tuition rate of $250 per credit hour for members of the U.S. military. The rate is available to full-time active duty members of the U.S. military, members of the Selected Reserves, and active members of the National Guard beginning with the Summer 2018 semester.

“Bellarmine University is proud to offer this special tuition pricing to those who guard and serve our country, to whom we owe much and who sacrifice much so we may enjoy the freedoms we have at home,” said Bellarmine’s president, Dr. Susan M. Donovan. “This is just one way we demonstrate our commitment to the men and women of the military.”

Reduced tuition is available for all military branches. Students who maintain their military status during enrollment and provide proof of eligibility will continue receiving the tuition benefit. Bellarmine admission officers will assist service members throughout the enrollment process.

Bellarmine University’s support for U.S. service members doesn’t end at enrollment. The Office of Military and Veteran Student Services maintains a lounge and study area in the W. L. Lyons Brown Library exclusively for active duty and veteran personnel, along with students who are dependents of a veteran.

U.S. News and World Report ranked Bellarmine as a top ten “Best College for Veterans” among Southern regional universities for 2018.

Those who qualify for the tuition benefit may apply the new military tuition rate toward any undergraduate or graduate program offered by Bellarmine, with the exception of three programs: Doctor of Physical Therapy, Accelerated Second Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Executive MBA. The tuition rate does not include the cost of course materials, such as textbooks or individual course fees, and is subject to the university’s course enrollment policies.
