Rubel School offers free workshop on negotiation, conflict resolution

September 28, 2018

Rick-Brown

Dr. Rick Brown -- Bellarmine University's director of military, veteran and international student services -- will be the featured speaker at a workshop about negotiation and conflict resolution strategies on Wednesday, October 3.

Attendees at this workshop, organized by the the W. Fielding Rubel School of Business, will learn how to separate the person from the problem and how to be objective, according to Brown.

“My approach is to start with the psychological basis of biases so we understand what we bring into the negotiation or conflict, and then break down the persuasive arguments of the other side of negotiations on three levels,” said Brown.

The one-hour workshop will be held in Centro's McGowan Hall 081 beginning at 8 a.m. It is free and open to the public. RSVP online
