Continuing Education: hundreds of professional development and personal enrichment courses this spring

From wine tasting to web development, Bellarmine University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies offers hundreds of non-credit and certificate learning experiences that do not require regular enrollment.

Bellarmine's spring 2019 continuing education catalog contains hundreds of online courses, as well as on-campus courses focused on professional development, personal enrichment, lifelong learning and spring break camps for children.

Discounts are available, with some restrictions, for Veritas Society members and people age 60 and over, along with Bellarmine students, faculty and staff.

300+ online courses:
Bellarmine offers more than 300 online courses with 24-hour access in topics ranging from accounting and project management to global languages and parenting. New instructor-led classes start every month and continue for six weeks; self-paced classes are also available.

Featured topics this semester include Spanish for medical professionals, sign language, grant writing, computer skills for the workplace.

13 professional development courses, including:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) exam preparation
- Certificate programs in teaching English as a foreign language, financial planning, gerontology and advanced psychotherapy
- Human resource training courses offered in collaboration with the Society for Human Resource Management

3 spring break youth camps:
Offered April 1-5
- ACT test preparation
- Real-world coding - ages 10-12
- Robotics adventure - ages 10-12

Veritas courses:
The Veritas Society, for people age 54 and over who are eager to explore new ideas and share their wisdom, begins their spring 2019 registration on January 24, with classes beginning the week of March 4.
