Bellarmine University Course Offerings

Attention Districts & High School Administrators

Bellarmine University, in alignment with SACSCOC guidelines, determines which courses are eligible for dual credit. High school students may only register and pay for dual credit tuition if the college courses they enroll in:

  • Fulfill high school graduation requirements
  • Allow students to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously
  • Meet eligibility criteria for the Kentucky Dual Credit Scholarship

Important Enrollment & Data Deadlines

Students CANNOT enroll in dual credit courses until the school district has signed the Dual Credit MOA.

CPE Snapshot Deadline – This is the final deadline for Bellarmine University to report official dual credit enrollment data to the Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE). No additions will be accepted after this deadline.

Deadline Fall Semester Spring Semester
Priority Registration Deadline March 1 October 1
CPE Snapshot Deadline October 31 March 29

Course Content: What to Expect

Dual credit courses are college-level and follow the same curriculum as those taken by full-time university students. Some general education courses may contain adult content.

What You Can Do:

  • On the first day of class, students and parents/guardians may review course outlines and textbooks to ensure the course aligns with their expectations.
  • Course material cannot be modified to accommodate high school preferences—these are college courses with rigorous academic expectations.

We appreciate your partnership in ensuring students are prepared for the college experience while earning valuable dual credit!
