Kroger Emerging Leaders certificatesSamons said the program provided him with new skills in addition to strengthening his skills in conflict resolution, problem solving and using data to share information.

“The skills I learned in Excel have enabled me to share data efficiently and in a user-friendly way that have improved results for my store and district. The skills I learned in conflict resolution and problem solving have helped me lead my associates to a higher level of execution while increasing their job satisfaction,” he said. “I believe that the completion of this program will undoubtedly help propel my career to the next level and will quickly open doors that may otherwise have taken years to get through.”

Gunkler said she benefited the most from the analytics instruction. "I use Excel and Power Bi daily but rarely get the chance to play with how these reports are populated," she said. "I believe that this newfound knowledge and curiosity about analytics will assist me as I progress in my career."
