In Fall 2020, a new Executive Education program was launched by Dean, Dr. Natasha Munshi, as part of the strategic priority to increase community engagement and deepening strategic partnerships. Alexandra Moro, an MBA Alumna, was hired for a newly created role of Associate Director of Graduate and Executive Education Programs, to support this advanced initiative that will house non-credit certificates and Executive Education/Professional Development initiatives. Alexandra is experienced in sales, recruitment, strategic operations, and data analysis driven by modernization. She takes pride in developing new outlets for the Rubel School of Business to expand and connect with the startup community. In addition to her primary job functions, Alexandra is a part of the Rubel School of Business, Bellarmine On Business Rubel Podcast team.
Dr. Munshi is Dean of the Rubel School of Business and Professor of Management in the Department of Business Administration, prior to which, she was Associate Dean of Graduate Business and Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at Saint Mary’s College of California. She received her PhD in Strategy, Organization, and Environment, from University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business. Her research interests in strategic and social innovation have led to publications in journals such as Organizational Dynamics, Journal of Asia-Pacific Business, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Business and Society Review. She holds an MBA in International Business and Management from Millsaps College, and a Master of Combined Sciences in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University of Mississippi Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and Biochemistry from Saint Xavier’s College, in her native home of Mumbai, India. She has been a visiting Professor to the University of Lugano, Switzerland since 2006 and has taught executive, graduate, and undergraduate courses on Strategy and Innovation in the UK, Europe, Asia, and United States. Dr. Munshi has deep expertise as a management consultant; she currently sits on the Board of Advisors for OASIS Center International, a non-profit organization based in Santa Ana, California.
Executive Education will allow organizations to customize curriculum in various leadership and development skills catered to their needs. The Executive Education Initiative will kick off in March 2021, with the Women of Color Entrepreneur-Leadership certificate. Directed by Dr. Pat Carver, Professor of Business Administration. This certificate will provide the necessary tools and ecosystem for minority women entrepreneurs to take their business to the next level.
