Incoming Fall 2024 First Year Students
The application for Bellarmine's Honors Program is available to admitted students for the fall of 2024 through March 1st.
Incoming Transfer Students
To be considered for admission into the Honors Program in the fall, please submit your application by August 1. To be considered in the spring, please submit your application by December 1.
Current Bellarmine Students
Bellarmine students currently enrolled and interested in joining the Honors Program are welcome to apply. To be eligible you must be a first year or sophomore student.
Admission Guidelines
Incoming First-Year Students
The program is open to qualified, motivated students of all majors. Students seeking admission to Bellarmine who are interested in Honors complete a separate application that is then reviewed by the Honors Program Director and members of the Honors Council. Each application is evaluated holistically, with special consideration given to applicants who not only have strong test scores and GPAs, but also provide compelling evidence of genuine intellectual curiosity. Once a student completes an application, the Honors Council reviews files of qualified students and issues acceptances in the spring before matriculation.
Transfer and Continuing Students
Transfer students and students who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership during their first year at Bellarmine are encouraged to apply.
